Pictures Of Ouray, Colorado October Scenery Of Ouray, Colorado (Taken October 2005) I spent an evening putzing around Ouray, Colorado last October. Here's a picture of Cascade Falls, a very popular waterfall that is just a short walk from downtown Ouray. The two people standing at the bottom help give some perspective about how large this waterfall is! It was past the peak season for fall foliage, but there were still some autumn colors showing off. I actually had dinner at Buen Tiempo right on the main avenue in Ouray. This is a very classy mexican restaurant with a festive and down-to-earth feel. A little pricey, but definitely worth it if you want to go somewhere nice in town. Now I actually stayed over at the Ouray Chalet Inn, and taking this picture was really frustrating. From a photographic standpoint, my entire 12 hours in Ouray was frustrating because the lighting was always bad. Anyway, here was the view from my motel room - there are some very interesting mountains that surround the small town of Ouray. One nice shot of downtown Ouray.
